"vtk/disloc" format in Ovito shows error

Hi,

I have a dislocations .ca file which was written out by ovito. I have then opened the same .ca file and saved it in .vtk format(vtk/dislocations) again using ovito. But when I try to open this .vtk file using ovito, it shows the error:

Invalid polygon/cell definition in VTK file (line 41184): 2 0 1

What might be the reason for this error? And what is the possible solution?

This file format is meant for export only (see Input file formats — OVITO User Manual 3.9.2 documentation).
You can further process it with Paraview. Please note, that the dislocation lines also won’t have a custom color property when using this file format.
